From lived experience’s to trusted advice
Real estate isn’t something I fell into, it’s something I’ve lived, learned, and grown with over time.
Now stepping into the role of Sales Representative at Blackwood Valley Real Estate, I bring a depth of experience shaped not just by professional training, but by real decisions, real outcomes, and years of hand’s on involvement with property.
My journey began in my early twenties, saving hard to purchase my first investment property with my best friend. By the time I turned 30, I owned four investment properties. Some were great decisions; others were valuable learning experiences.
For me, property was never about quick wins. It was about stability, making informed choices, and creating opportunities over time.
I come from a family with deep ties to farming and station life in northern Western Australia. That background shaped my understanding of land, hard work, resilience, and community. Combined with my own lived experience with property, it has given me a practical, grounded approach to real estate, one I believe will serve people well across Bridgetown, Balingup, Boyup Brook, Dinninup, Manjimup and the surrounding areas.
I have called Bridgetown home for almost four years, after relocating from Newman in the North West. My husband and I chose this community for our three boys, now aged 6, 8 and 12, because we wanted them to grow up somewhere that still values honesty, connection and fresh air.
Whilst living in Newman with young children, I also served as a Shire Councillor. It was one of the most educational chapters of my life. This experience gave me a solid understanding of legislation, governance, policy and procedures, and reinforced the importance of transparency, collaboration and persistence when working with people and making decisions that matter. Alongside council, I was actively involved in organisations such as the Newman Chamber of Commerce and a range of community groups.
Throughout my working life, I’ve managed and operated small businesses across Western Australia and Victoria, including an information centre, service station, wineries and restaurants. Those roles sharpened my skills in relationship building, sales, communication, leadership, problem-solving and accountability — skills that translate seamlessly into real estate.
I am genuinely excited to be following a new career path, one I feel incredibly ready for, I have supported friends and family through property transactions for years, guided by a strong belief in fairness, transparency and integrity. Buyers and sellers alike deserve clear communication, honest advice and respect at every stage.
My role is to guide, support and advocate I am proud to be part of Blackwood Valley Real Estate, a business that aligns strongly with my own values.
Outside of work, I genuinely love people, creativity and a challenge. I love gardening and using home grown produce to cook for my family and friends (desserts admittedly aren’t my strength) and being a mum to our three boys. I also remain actively involved in the community, currently sitting on my boys’ school P&C and supporting local events and initiatives whenever I can. Community isn’t just something I talk about, it’s something I value.
I take pride in creating good outcomes, whether that’s around the dinner table, in the garden, or in life more broadly — and that mindset carries directly into how I approach real estate.
Whether you are considering selling, buying, investing, or simply want an informed conversation about your property options, I welcome the opportunity to partner with you.
Real conversations. Honest integrity. A genuine approach.
That’s what I bring — backed by the strength and experience of Blackwood Valley Real Estate.
